I saw an A-Z Of Things I Love post on Safe Haven and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to create one of my own. Obviously, they’re not my favourite things in the whole world, but they make my life a little bit better for having them.
America’s Next Top Model
I’ve seen all 23 seasons, as well as the versions in Australia, Canada, and Britain. It’s just amazing! The photo shoot that stays with me was the model stereotypes in Cycle 7.
I was raised reading Shakespeare and did a degree in English and Creative Writing so books are part of my life.
If you’ve seen the posts over in the Cheerleading tab, you’ll know that I coach cheerleading. It’s such an important part of my life and I can’t imagine not being around that ever again.
My favourite is the caramel custard doughnut from Greggs, but I don’t discriminate – I’ll eat them all.
A friend bought me a pair of earrings a couple of years ago and I never wear anything else. They’re white gold with a pearl surrounded by diamonds. They remind me of something a princess would wear, which is probably why I love them so much!
YUM! Whether it’s fresh chicken with Old El Paso mix or a Birdeye chicken steak, just load them up with salad and it’s the best meal you will ever have!
What a delicious man… I love Kitchen Nightmares but the way he treats the kids on Masterchef Junior is just so adorable!
Some people say I’m obsessed with Harry Potter but I think it’s a healthy love of something that has created an inclusive fandom. I was 6 when the first book was published and now I have a Deathly Hallows tattoo.
I would be lost without my iPhone. Not only for a camera or to contact my family, but I love playing games on it.
I live in jumpers, jackets and hoodies. My favourite is Harry Potter themed one from Primark (surprise surprise!)
Kenneth Cole Watch
Someone bought me a gorgeous rose gold Kenneth Cole watch (waaaaay before rose gold was popular!) and I never take it off. My dad bought me a similar watch for Christmas this year and I just can’t bring myself to take this one off. There are a lot of things associated with this watch that I can’t let go.
Lingerie is the thing that makes me feel confident. If I have matching underwear on, I feel like I can take on the world.
I have a treble clef tattoo on my wrist because music has got me through the hardest parts of my life. Without music, I’m not sure where I’d be.
Nieces and Nephews
I have three nieces and a nephew and they make my life better. They also drive me crazy but I wouldn’t change them for the world.
Oh my goodness, they’re so cute! Did you know that they hold hands when they sleep so they don’t drift apart?
Whether it’s American style with bacon and maple syrup, or the flat ones you have for Shrove Tuesday, I love pancakes. They’re so easy to make and they’re just delicious!
You are never too old or too smart to ask questions. If people didn’t ask questions, we wouldn’t have modern medicine or the technology we have today. Don’t be scared to ask questions, that how we improve.
My mum bought a ring from Pandora for my birthday one year and, although I don’t really wear rings, I love it. It’s in a box in my room, ready to come out for the occasions when I need to remind myself that I’m a star.
If it was a thing, I’d sleep all day. I love being all wrapped up in blankets and it’s the best feeling ever.
I love tote bags. A lot. I would have a tote bag for every day of the week if I was allowed. I got one from Ting when I won her Body Shop giveaway, I got one from Amelia when I attended the BumbleBizz networking event… I just need to find a place to put them all now!
I got this USN bottle when I bought the Body Makeover Bundle and it is the perfect size to make sure I drink enough water. Even if I only have one bottle, I’ll have drunk 700ml of liquid.
I played the violin when I was younger and still have one in my room. It’s been untouched for about 4 years but I can’t bring myself to throw it away
Writing soothes my soul and reminds me that there are some things that I’m good at.
Ok so I don’t love them, but I’ve had a lot of them during my life. I’ve broken a lot of bones and think it’s time I just get my own personal x-ray machine. It would certainly stop me clogging up A&E!
You’ll Be Ok
This song by A Great Big World is one of those songs that you turn on when you’re having a really bad day. It lets you wallow in self-pity but also tells you that you’ll be ok and you’ll get through it.
Zero to Hero
Another amazing song, this one’s from Hercules. Hercules is one of the funniest Disney’s films and I’ll happily watch it every day for the rest of my life!
