When I arrived in Australia, I had never heard of Kmart but then colleagues kept saying “oh you haven’t been to Kmart? Just wait…”

So one day I decided to pop in to see what it was all about. $50 later and I had been sucked into the “Kmart wormhole”.

It has its advantages. I bought a small heater for $15 and it keeps the flat warm just as well as anything more expensive. My housemate Lucy is kitting out the flat with the basic range, and I’ve given in to my blogger obsession of rose gold, all thanks to that budget beauty.

We’re officially living in a blogger flat thanks to that shop. There’s a growing marble collection and we have a faux-fur rug for our flat lays. Yes, I said flat lays.

For everything in that picture, it came to $30, but you can’t put a price on planning for your blog and making your flat lay dreams come true.

If you haven’t been yet, go and have a look. You’ll be surprised what you can find.

The one in Bondi Junction has everything you’ve ever needed; from underwear and t-shirts to bins and batteries. I can almost guarantee that you won’t walk out of there empty-handed. If you do, please let me know how you did it!

I wanted to tell you which my favourite department is, but I honestly can’t decide. I love the Home section and built a nice collection of duvet covers and candles. I’m also a HUGE stationery fan, buying notebooks even when I don’t need them you always need notebooks though… That’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!)

I also bought one of the best gym bags I’ve ever had, and think I’ll be using it every day for the rest of my life.
