I’m not ashamed or embarrassed to share everything with you, from my eating issues to my mental health issues, but something I’ve been a little hesitant to share is my GirlBoss moment.
The Bujo Box
I have officially started The Bujo Box!
That’s right, it has an official bank account, there is stock sitting in front of me as I type this and we’re on social media!
It’s amazing what can happen when you put your mind to something and keep fighting for it.
When I lead the Masterclass at the end of January, I realised that I hadn’t brought everything that people would need (I’m going to blame depression brain fog for that one) and I wanted to be able to create something that people could open and get started straight away.
Total Girl Boss
Yes, I’m calling myself a girl boss because I went through one of the toughest moments in my life at the beginning of the year and 3 months later, I’ve started a business and am actually looking forward to seeing this work.
I wake up in the morning, get a cup of tea and take my tablets, then sit with my laptop in my makeshift office (aka the conservatory full of laundry and toys) and focus on my business.
That means doing everything. Checking the stock I already have, comparing prices for future orders, taking photos of what I have, scheduling it to social media (I’m not quite there with this one yet), and making new spreads in my own bullet journal so I have enough content to lead another masterclass.
The best bit about all of this? I started it while I was at my lowest.
The Bujo Box will be launching on 1st April (no it’s not an April Fools joke!) but will be doing pre-orders from the 30th March and all of the sales will be through the shop up in the menu bar.
We’re also on social media (duh!) so come and find The Bujo Box on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. If you think that The Bujo Box would be perfect for someone, please share the love and invite them to have a look.
You’re A Girl Boss Too
Yes, you are.
Even if you feel like you’re struggling, you are doing so much better than you know.
I don’t want to plug my business just for the hell of it, but I REALLY recommend starting a bullet journal. I started mine back in April 2018, and I may have fallen off the wagon a couple of times, but it’s also been a place for me to vent my thoughts without the negative repercussions of telling my friends how low I’m feeling.
I really recommend The Inspo Box because the design of the notebook has been picked specifically to help lift the mood. Yellow is notoriously considered a happy colour, the baby blue is calming and the star design is there to remind you that you can only see stars in the dark (see, there is definitely thought behind this box!)
Need Something Extra?
That’s ok, we all do!
I’m working on a little something extra to put into The Inspo Box – something to help remind you that you’re amazing.
I’m working hard behind the scenes so that you can do the same. It’s ok if all you did was get out of bed today, that’s still a win in my book.
