My Top 30 Songs of 2016

If you’re a music junkie like me, Spotify will have shown you the 100 songs you played most in 2016 (but it won’t tell you how many times you played it, boo Spotify, boo!)

A lot of people think I’m strange when my music can go from Panic at the Disco to RuPaul, but I love every type of music! Correction, I’m not a fan of the music that talks about women as sex objects but I love women like Trina and Nicki Minaj.

Looking through it, there is a range of genres: musical theatre, country, pop… Have a listen to the 30 I’ve picked out for you – I think you’ll really love them, if not… Well, we can’t be friends (I’m joking obviously!)

My Top 30 Songs

  1. Say You Won’t Let Go – James Arthur
  2. Sex Is in the Heel – Kinky Boots
  3. Perfect Illusion – Lady Gaga
  4. Panda – Desiigner

If I had to pick a favourite, I think it would be Almost There from Princess and the Frog. It’s one of those songs that picks you up when you’re down, says it’s ok to not be where you want to be because you’re almost there. Just keep going.

Obviously, I did another list when Spotify showed my favourite songs of 2017, so check it out here.
