5 Lingerie Brands You NEED To Know About

I know it’s been a few months since my last Lingerie Line Up, I had a lot to contend with at the end of 2017.

In 2018, I want to find new brands to showcase and it can get quite overwhelming, but here it is! A few of my favourite internet finds.

Rosie for Autograph

My first pick has to be Rosie for Autograph at Marks and Spencer.

I only discovered these sets when I popped in one morning for a plain t-shirt bra.

This is the Silk and Lace set: the bra is £27.50 and the knickers were £12.50 (but I got them in a 3 for 2 offer). I haven’t worn them yet because I want to save them (I know, after I said that lingerie should be worn every day!) but this set makes me feel AMAZING.

I had to experiment with sizing because the 38 would be too big after a wash and the 36 is a little too snug at the moment, so I bought a 36F. I’d recommend trying it on to get the fit absolutely perfect, the material is quite structured so you may need a sister size.

Catherine D’Lish

If you haven’t seen a Catherine D’Lish robe, then you’re about to thank me.

Just imagine, you live in a huge mansion and the police ring the bell to tell you that your elderly husband has mysteriously passed away. You’ll need this Catherine D’Lish robe to swish about the house.

How stunning is this?! I need it. I need several of them, but at $500, it’s not really something you can buy on a whim. Definitely one for the Lust List.

Playful Promises

I found Playful Promises when they used Violet Chachki to model some of their Bettie Page collection. If you don’t know who Violet is, check out PP’s tweets about why they chose her. It’s kind of a big deal. They also recently collaborated with plus-size blogger Gabi Fresh, which is why I’m featuring them in January’s Lingerie Line Up.

LOOK AT HER!! She is so flawless and such an inspiration.

Because I can’t just choose one thing, here are the prices for everything in this picture. Everything was on sale at the time I wrote this but I’ve put the usual prices as well. You’re welcome.

  • Betty Sheer Tulle Robe – £20 (usually £50)
  • On the Rocks Strappy Bra – £20 (usually £35)
  • On the Rocks Strappy Brief – £8 (usually £15)
  • On the Rocks Strappy Suspender Belt – £10 (usually £25)

One of the best things about the Gabi Fresh x PP collection is that they’re focusing on the plus size market and they’re still sexy as hell! No more fuddy-duddy grey bras for the buxom beauties!

Pour Moi

I discovered Pour Moi thanks to ASOS and I am so glad I did!

They currently have a sale too (thank you January!) so all of this is up to 85%.

  • Bra £18.20 (usually £26)
  • Thong £9.80 (usually £14)
  • Briefs £10.50 (usually £15)
  • Suspender Belt £14 (usually £20)

Even at usual prices, they’re still really good value. Now you really don’t need an excuse to buy new lingerie!

Fleur of England

If you hadn’t already guessed, Fleur of England is a British lingerie brand that focuses on the luxury market. Think silks, delicate lace and everything designed by Fleur herself.

Fleur of England Huntress

These are three pieces from the Huntress collection and I need every single one of them. The forest green is just to die for (I mean, green is always my go-to colour but who can say no to the embroidery??) Plus, if you’re a little worried about a nip slip, like me, the embroidery on all of their bras covers enough to be decent.

  • Strap Balcony Bra – £99
  • Thong – £89
  • Suspender Belt – £89

You can also get a “standard” balcony bra without the strap detail for £99, briefs for £95, boudoir bra (bralette) for £95, harness for £110, robe for £400 and babydoll for £175.

Yes, it’s expensive and yes, it’ll only be kept for VERY special occasions, but isn’t it worth the investment? It’s stunning.
